Enhancing Access (DAIPs) Grant
Non Government Organisations (NGOs)
The Western Australian Government has released $750,000 for one-off grant funding to assist NGOs work towards improving the access and inclusion of people with disabilities, as a requirement of Disability Access and Inclusion Plans (DAIPs).
The Independent Living Centre of WA will administer the funding through a two stage process, with grants up to $20,000 available for approved projects. Joint ventures will be favourably considered.

Who can apply?
NGOs funded to provide services to the public through the following Western Australian Authorities may apply for this grant:
Department for Child Protection
Department for Communities
Department of Corrective Services
Department of Education and Training
Department of Health
Department of Indigenous Affairs
Department of Sport and Recreation
Disability Services Commission
Lotterywest
These NGOs will need to work towards meeting one or more desired outcomes of their contracting authority’s DAIP.

Disability Awareness and Development Workshops in metropolitan and regional locations. Video conference option will be available.
Workshops are an opportunity to find out more about Disability Access and Inclusion Plans(DAIPs) and how your organisation can further the inclusion of people with disabilities. Resources and Grant Application Packs will be available.
