About Us
The Independent Living Centre (WA) was founded in 1977 by Ms Freda Jacob as an information and advisory service on assistive equipment and technology. The organization has expanded and grown over the years, managed and driven by an effective Board of Management. The Strategic Plan was reviewed in 2007 and is a working document that assists the Management and staff of ILC to strive towards upholding the mission and vision for the ILC.
