Service description
The Niche Building and conference facilities are conveniently located on the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre. The Niche Conference Room overlooks a tranquil parkland vista, while offering state of the art facilities for up to 100 guests.
Movable Seating, kitchen facilities, accessible toilets and the latest technology makes the Niche Conference Room a wise choice for facilitating conferences, information sessions, corporate and community functions.
The building offers accessible visitors parking as well as being well serviced by public transport.
How and where we can help
Technology and audio equipment provided is kept in good working order, is easy to operate and provides a high standard audio and visual experience. Equipment provided includes;
- laptop computer
- combination DVD / VCR
- digital ceiling overhead projector
- mounted projector screen
- electronic colour white board with A4 pointer
- colour television and VCR with trolley
- wireless lapel microphones (with belt transmitter)
- microphone for lectern
- wireless microphone receivers
- three channel amplifier, and
- slide projector with zoom lens and slide carousel
- lectern
- transparency overhead projector on trolley
- hand held pointer with USB key for PowerPoint presentations
All equipment is secured for easy use and convenience. The Niche also offers the use of a kitchen equipped with the following;
- refrigerator
- stove
- microwave
- dishwasher
- pie warmer, and
- crockery and cutlery to cater for 100 guests.
Who we can help (eligibility)
No eligibility criteria apply, however hire is subject to availability and agreement to abide by care and use standards set out in contractual agreement.
