ILC Education and Training

Service description

The ILC education and training service delivers training and consultancy for groups and individuals working in the health, community care, disability and aged care sectors. A wide range of standard programs are available and workshops can be customised to meet training needs. All workshops have an emphasis on practical skills development.

Training is presented by health professionals with extensive clinical experience. Manual handling training courses are provided by staff that have qualifications in Manutention and are certified workplace trainers and assessors.

Workshops are conducted in small groups, with an experiential approach allowing all participants to develop skills and practice techniques, as well as having the opportunity to trial a range of equipment. A consultancy service is also available for risk assessments and individual training.
