ILC VIDEOCONFERENCING PROGRAMME 2008

What is Videoconferencing?

Videoconferencing uses video cameras and microphones to transmit images and sound between two or more locations.

The remote locations are connected via ISDN lines (128k, 256k and 384k bandwidth) or IP on the Department of Health network which allow transmission of audio and video images - viewed from a monitor or TV screen.

It allows for real-time exchange of information and communication between two or more sites.

How can you use it?
